Update (10/9/25): Folks, I enjoyed writing this page and I know a lot of people read it, but as you know it was just fun, and it looks like Trump has appointed all the management for the USPTO and they have been making some changes over the last few months to improve efficiency and quality at the USPTO, but not even remotely what I wanted to do! I really had a vision for a major structural change to the USPTO and if Trump had appointed me Commissioner of Patents, the two countries which would have really benefited from my plan would have been the USA and China which together would have led technology for the world for the next 25 years, instead China may overtake the United States in technology by 2028 !
I am NOT asking for the job anymore !
I sent Trump a letter and the White House sent me an email, thank you! I say to you President Trump, now do the right thing and appoint me Commissioner, you won’t regret it ! I have two dozen changes ready to go, and some of them are huge and I will hit the ground running and the whole world will feel the effects within 3 months and the whole world will love it ! This will affect Trillions of dollars in Intellectual Property and Venture Capital and you will be the change making President. In addition I have an idea on how to cut the federal government in half and still make a quality improvement, forget Elon Musk, hire a real genius to reform the government!
Hey Trump, we are about to lose the entire tech sector to China, make me Commissioner for Patents before it is too late, we DON’T need to get “winning developers worldwide”, that is nonsense, what we need is PTO reform, the people in charge at the USPTO don’t have a clue, the USPTO needs structural reform which only I can do.
I have the solution to permanently change US Patent law and the USPTO and to do that I want be appointed Commissioner for Patents. I am unique in that I am an inventor, an experienced patent examiner and a person of high IQ and I guarantee that no one will guess the solution I have to fix the problem ! I guarantee that I am the ONLY person who can fix Patent practice in the USA today!
Also, DOGE is a waste of time, but I know a way to REALLY improve the efficiency of all the government departments and it will be very popular with both democrats and republicans, and I can do it in parallel with reforming the USPTO !
See the picture above, I think Trump’s tariffs are really really good, BUT Trump if you are reading this, you are only treating the symptoms, in order to cure the disease, you MUST reform the USPTO, only I can do that for you.
Trump, do you remember the mess Obama made with Solyndra ? Don’t repeat the mistake that Obama made, don’t waste time, appoint me now, it will be the best thing you have ever done to MAGA!
