A few days ago, I had to call the police because my neighbor Hoang Nguyen cut the roots of his tree in his front yard, see the picture above and I have complained about this to the HOA Inframark, that I am worried the tree will fall down in the next storm.
If you live in Seven Meadows district of Katy, you should go out and look at your neighbor’s tree in the front yard, because when Seven Meadows was built some of the trees planted in the front yard are unsuitable for a small front yard like Seven Meadows, Katy and after 18 years they are now so big they may be raising your driveway causing problems and perhaps we should all join together to get Inframark Seven Meadows Homeowners Association (HOA) to address the issue. In another 5 years these trees are going to become even bigger so we need to act now!
I was having a problem getting my neighbor “Hoang Nguyen” to agree to a fence replacement, see how horrible it looked, but he was refusing (see below) and I tried to get the Inframark Seven Meadows HOA and Keller Williams Agent Terrence Banks (the leasing agent for Hoang Nguyen’s house) to help me for literally a year (see below) before Hoang agreed to pay $1400 for his share of the fence, see above.
Right now, I am trying to get Inframark Seven Meadows HOA to look at my neighbor’s tree in his front yard, because I think his tree roots are lifting my driveway. Then to make things worse, a few days ago Hoang paid the fence guy to cut the roots of this tree in the front yard. This Hoang Nguyen doesn’t live here but the tenant who is Indian and came here from Canada was standing in the front yard near the tree when the roots of the tree were being chopped. I called the police and the police came and talked to this Hoang Nguyen and I showed the police the cut roots, see the picture above, this is what the police saw.
Then this Indian guy Atma Ram who is on the Seven Meadows HOA board called me on the phone and left a message asking for my address so he can talk to me “unofficially”. I did not give him my address but still he showed up at my house an hour later, so I asked him how he got my address and he replied, “I am on the HOA board so I have access to your address”. I complained to Inframark that this is an invasion of privacy that this Inframark Seven Meadows HOA board member Atma Ram is looking up people’s addresses and just going to their house without their permission for “unofficial” chats but Inframark did not bother to respond.
I told Inframark HOA that since this Hoang Nguyen cut the roots of his tree they need to send a tree expert to come and inspect this tree and certify that it will not fall down in the next storm, but Inframark HOA representative Megan Shivers said Inframark has no responsibility in the matter. I told her that the Inframark Seven Meadows HOA has responsibility to ensure the tree is safe, that is in the HOA governing documents and that cutting the roots makes the tree unsafe, and I told her that this HOA board member Atma Ram is not a tree expert, but so far the HOA board is refusing to send a tree expert to check if the tree is safe and not damaging my driveway.
