I was at the library the other day in the theology section and I saw this book titled “Sex and Heaven” except that I read it as “Sex in Heaven” and I thought, “Wow, this must be one interesting book” till I looked again and realized what the book was actually about. Well, my book is available on Amazon, see the link above and it has nothing to do with Sex or Heaven.
Nowadays many people don’t have time to read books anymore but to those of us who like the art of prose, some authors stand out as Masters of description, like Wodehouse to make you laugh or Aldous Huxley to make you think or my favorite author of all time Howard Philips Lovecraft. Do you know that in his lifetime, he did not make much profit from his books and even his own mother did not think much of him, but after his death Lovecraft’s books have come to represent the Gold standard for horror.
I will be the first to admit that I am no Lovecraft, but I think that if you read my book above, you will not stop reading it, until you reach the end (you don’t need a kindle, you can read it on the computer). And I promise that if I get enough support and encouragement from potential readers such as you, that I will write more novels about my detective and that in time, my books too will come to evoke a horror in you, completely misplaced and completely subconscious the same way that Lovecraft was able to, and I will have done my part to keep this genre alive. I write because, like Lovecraft, I want someone, somewhere to enjoy reading my book.
In fact I believe that my book will make a blockbuster movie, and I wish I could bring my book to the attention of Director/Screenwriter David Cronenberg or an actor like Viggo Mortensen because my book has a nice plot which will photograph really well, the action moves quite quickly and the moviegoer will be left in suspense till the end and you can come out of the movie feeling satisfied that you saw something extraordinary and that is good entertainment !
So please, I encourage all of you to read my book, support a budding author, at $0.99 you will get your money’s worth and if you are my colleague at the USPTO, ask yourself, have you written a book today ? If not, then read my book and celebrate the fact that some Examiner at the USPTO is capable of writing such books.
And if you are David Cronenberg or Viggo Mortensen, won’t you consider my book for your next horror movie ? If you start filming now you can release the movie for Christmas and everyone can enjoy Sun Dried Bits !
